You’ve reached a repository of ponderations by me, Tom Stephens.
I grew up in Derbyshire but I currently live in London, where I work as a researcher for Labour’s Tulip Siddiq MP. Prior to that I worked for Diana Johnson MP, did freelance work on a number of projects and studied for a Masters’ Degree at the London School of Economics (more details here).
This blog is intended mostly to store in-depth research on projects I’ve done – both on behalf of others, and in my spare time. I strive to only publish posts which are worth reading, and I avoid writing countless skin-deep opinion pieces on every news story under the sun.
In these pages, you’ll see findings I’ve uncovered from parliamentary questions or Freedom of Information requests; figures from large-scale datasets I’ve analysed myself; and, very rarely, my own take on an issue of the day. Needless to say, all views and interpretations are entirely my own. For a full list of ponderations, see here.
